Xbox: New to Console Panel
The Microsoft Team needed help slotting in a cross link panel to the “New to Console” (NTC) audience. The page is specifically made for parents who are buying for their kids, and addresses their concern as to whether Xbox is appropriate for their child to use—as opposed to Nintendo Switch, which is very family friendly.
I was responsible for creating 3-5 visuals that communicated the breadth of “family fun”, i.e games appropriate for kids/family, entertainment apps, and xbox services.
Xbox Games Hub
Creative Role: Design
Using wireframes shared by the Xbox team I was able to start creating several versions of the Games Hub page. The page is suppose to help refresh the current site structure with a more hub and spoke approach. The hub ultimately allows users greater exploration options that features products and games then routes users to the correct sub-category, be it Xbox One games, GamePass, or Deals with Gold.
Takeover
In addition to restructuring the existing Games Hub the client also wanted us to think about how we could incorporate a specific game takeover, i.e FIFA 18. This gives a user more information on the game, sales, events, etc without taking away from other important content on the page.
